Christine Skippins is an award-winning writer and illustrator. After stepping back from a long career in finance, she shifted her focus to storytelling, discovering her niche while volunteering at a local animal rescue centre. This experience inspired her beloved series, 'The Magic of Misty Nook,' where she brings to life enchanting animal characters that explore themes of love and kindness in overcoming loneliness.

In addition to her writing, Christine is an accomplished artist whose animal-themed artwork has gained popularity, with prints available in various sizes.

Her journey as a children's author has also inspired her to delve into adult fiction and non-fiction, with aspirations to release a collection of short stories in the near future.

A native of Chichester, England, Christine is a mum to a grown son and daughter and a proud pet owner to Rizzo, her spaniel, and cats Frankie and Baylie. As a grandmother to Harry and Sienna, as well as Ivy the Labrador and Rolo the Spaniel, she loves her family time.

Christine is naturally active and creative, often exploring the picturesque West Sussex countryside with her dog and forming stories in her mind. She enjoys travelling and unwinding with a good book in her garden while savouring a glass of wine during her downtime.
