Emily's Story
She was born into a large family in South London, just two years before the outbreak of World War II. This is a story in which I have grown to truly understand the horrors of living through the bombings and hardships of that time, and how they became normalised in the mind of a young child. It also highlights the incredible power of resilience, love, and hope during one of history's darkest chapters.
